รัฐมินิโซตา ประกาศ 9 สารเคมี โดยให้ ถือเป็นสารอันตรายในสินค้าสำหรับเด็ก BPA, Cadmium, Decabromodiphenyl ether (DecaBDE), Formaldehyde, Hexabromocyclododecane(HBCD) , Lead, Butyl benzyl phthalate (BBP) , Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), Di (2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP)

ประเด็นการเปลี่ยนแปลงของกฎหมาย CA TB 117-2013 ได้แก่ ข้อกำหนดด้านสมรรถนะและการติดฉลาก (Performance and labeling requirements)  ภายใต้มาตรฐานการทดสอบการลุกติดไฟฉบับใหม่ (The New Flammability Standard Technical Bulletin)
